How do I keep my contact details confidential in Family Court?
This factsheet explains which form to use to keep your contact details confidential in family court proceedings.
This process can protect individuals who face serious risks should their contact details be disclosed.
You need to complete form C8 when making an application to the Court. You can find this form here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/792761/c8-eng.pdf
Details you can keep confidential include your address, contact details of your children, telephone numbers, email addresses, etc.
It is important that you include the actual contact details you want to keep confidential within this form, making sure you do not include these details within the application itself. This is because the application will be seen by the person you want to hide your details from, but form C8 will not be seen by them.
